GENERAL – THE CAMPSITE

What are the campsite opening dates?

Your summer holidays 2026 are possible at Les Mimosas from 09 May to 31 August. We hope to see you!

Is the campsite VACAF approved?

No, Camping Les Mimosas is not VACAF approved.

Where is Camping Les Mimosas located?

Camping Les Mimosas is located in Portiragnes, 1.5 km from the nearest beach in Hérault, that corner of Southern France where the sun warms the days and lights up the landscapes. Here, vineyards mingle with the scents of the garrigue, and the Mediterranean Sea is only a few steps away: you can feel it in the air, sometimes hear it in the distance, and it brings that special softness that makes your stay a true holiday moment. A place where light, nature and the sea come together to offer a warm and authentic setting.

Arrivals & departures.

For mobile home rentals
The keys for rental accommodation are handed over from 5 pm.
If you arrive earlier, please go to reception to complete check-in. With your wristbands, you will have access to the facilities while waiting. If reception is closed, please contact the security guard to access the site. Please note that access to the water park will not be possible.
For any late arrival after 7 pm, please contact the campsite in advance and inform us of your arrival time. In this way, our reception team will be able to prepare your arrival properly.

For tent/caravan pitches
Pitches are available from 3 pm.
If you arrive earlier, please go to reception to complete check-in. With your wristbands, you will have access to the facilities while waiting. If reception is closed, please contact the security guard to access the site. Please note that access to the water park will not be possible.

PLEASE NOTE: Any person not listed on the arrival form will be refused entry to the site and will not receive a wristband (temporary or permanent). It is therefore essential that every person staying at the campsite is reported to reception before arrival.

On the day of departure, the accommodation and the pitch must be vacated no later than 10 am.

Please go to reception to return your accommodation keys, your temporary wristbands and inform us that the pitch has been vacated (you may park your vehicle in the campsite car park).
It is entirely possible to continue enjoying the campsite for the rest of the day until 7 pm before hitting the road again!

Is the wristband compulsory?

Wearing the wristband on your wrist is compulsory at Camping Les Mimosas from the age of 4.

Our wristbands are carefully made of soft hypoallergenic fabric, ensuring comfort and causing no irritation.
Every person staying at the campsite must report to reception upon arrival in order to receive their wristband.
Without a wristband, it is not possible under any circumstances to access the campsite facilities, and entry will be refused. In the event of breakage or loss of your wristband, please contact our reception team.

In addition, in the event of a deliberate refusal to wear your wristband, access to the campsite cannot be authorised. Management also reserves the right to exclude the holidaymaker concerned: the stay would then be cancelled and non-refundable.

Upon departure, please go to reception or the entrance guard to return your wristbands (temporary and/or permanent).

Can we receive visitors?

For a daily fee of 4€, visitors will have access to the campsite. They are asked to report to reception (or to the entrance guard if reception is closed), where a temporary wristband will be lent to them.

Visiting hours: between 10:00 am and 11:00 pm

Visitors do not have access to the water park under any circumstances. However, they do have access to Le Kraken bar-restaurant, the grocery store, and the accommodation of their relatives/friends.

Does the campsite accept pets?

For a daily fee payable at the time of booking, pets are accepted at the campsite. They must always be kept on a leash, “voluntary” walks should mainly be taken along the main path towards the outside of the campsite, and waste must always be picked up.

Price: from 3€ to 6€ per day.
Allowed places : pitches; rentals; Le Kraken bar-restaurant; reception.
Places not allowed: water park; grocery store; shuttle.

A dog shower is available at sanitary block 1, you simply need to ask the guard for the key.

Half board at the campsite.

At Le Kraken bar-restaurant, it is possible to choose half board during your stay.

Reservations are for a minimum of 5 days and must be made on site, directly with the bar manager, on the day of arrival.

Possible options : breakfast + lunch / breakfast + dinner
2026 rates : under 10 years old = 30€/day – from 10 years old = 40€/day

Is it possible to rent sheets – towels – beach towels?

Would you like to add services to your rental? No problem! At Les Mimosas, many services are offered for a stay that suits you.
Simply contact the booking service by email via our contact form. Our team will quickly update your stay.

Rates
Bed linen kit: 15€ per bed for the entire stay (cotton sheets)
Towel: 1€ per day and per person
Beach towel: 1€ per day and per person

How do I add or remove the cleaning package from my booking?

Initially, end-of-stay cleaning is your responsibility. However, it is possible to free yourself from this burdensome task during your stay. What could be better than leaving without too much effort? Les Mimosas offers you an end-of-stay cleaning package so that relaxation lasts right to the very end!

To add or remove the cleaning package, simply contact the booking service by email at mimosas@mimosas.com and submit your request. Our team will take care of the rest!

The balance of my stay.

Mobile home rental
Your stay must be paid in full no later than 1 month before your arrival date.
Please note that the campsite reserves the right to cancel your stay if it is not paid within the required time.

Tent/caravan pitch
You may pay the balance of your stay upon arrival by bank card, or in cash up to a maximum of 1000€.

How do I pay for my stay?

By bank card
From our website, go to your Customer Area.
Enter your booking number as well as your booking name.
Your booking number can be found on your arrival form and/or your booking summary sent by email from mimosas@vagues-oceanes.com.

By bank transfer
From your banking app or through your bank, add the campsite’s bank details sent by email from mimosas@vagues-oceanes.com when your booking was accepted or confirmed.
Do not forget to specify the surname and first name of the booking as well as your customer number.

By paper holiday vouchers
Send them by tracked registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to the campsite address:

Please write the recipient’s name on each voucher.

RENTALS

How does the hot tub work?

By choosing a rental with a private hot tub on your terrace, enjoy a relaxing moment without having to worry about cleaning. In fact, our hot tubs operate similarly to our swimming pools, with an automatic and continuous cleaning system.

Also, every Friday from 10 pm to 10 am, chlorine products are diffused into all hot tubs, and swimming is therefore prohibited.
As a result, the only cleaning you will need to do is using a skimmer net to collect any leaves that may fall from the trees.

The water temperature is automatically set between 30 and 33°, according to ARS regulations, and is not manually adjustable.
Two buttons for the light and the bubbles are available so that you can enter a state of relaxation and meditation.

I rented sheets and/or towels for my stay.

Upon your arrival and when checking in at reception, our team will give you the sheets and/or towels that you rented in advance at the same time as your rental keys.

What can I find in my accommodation?

Each accommodation has an inventory available on our website and displayed in the rental upon your arrival. A welcome kit is provided in your accommodation.

All our accommodation includes at minimum: air conditioning, kitchen, living area, bedroom, bathroom and terrace. Each one nevertheless has its own features, and some of them are available for rent if needed.

When/Where can I collect the keys to my rental?

Upon your arrival, and after checking in at reception, our team will provide you with your keys from 5 pm, which you can collect at reception.

At Les Mimosas, your children will always find something fun to do thanks to our 3 clubs adapted to each age group.

TRANSPORT

Is there a bus service to the town?

The 651 line takes you to Béziers from Monday to Saturday. The nearest stop from the campsite is “l’Émeraude”.

How far away is the nearest airport?

Béziers Cap-d’Agde airport is 12 minutes from our campsite.

How far away is the nearest train station?

Béziers train station is the nearest and best connected station for reaching the campsite.

It takes about 20 minutes by car.

The campsite’s free shuttle.

A free shuttle service allows you to travel easily to the seaside resort of Portiragnes-Plage from June onwards.

Make return trips between the nearest beach and the daily markets and make the most of your stay effortlessly.

By reservation at reception. Pets are not allowed.

BEACHES

How far away are the nearest beaches?

The small Dune Beach: about 1.5 km from the campsite.

The seaside resort of Portiragnes-Plage: about 2 km from the campsite (larger and better served)

How can I get to the beach?

On foot along the Canal du Midi to enjoy the shade of the trees, or by following the road to enjoy the sunshine.

By free shuttle from the campsite or with your vehicle in only 5 minutes!
