During the tour you will discover through explanatory panels and videos how the Greeks founded the city of Agde and from which the name of the museum. A small track all the same: a young man designated a young man in ancient times, and one that you will see during the visit was the work of a brilliant sculptor.

You'll understand: the Museum of Ephebe is a great opportunity to uncover treasures from antiquity. The archaeological collections include beautiful sculptures including Eros and Caesarion, copper and lead ingots, weapons, scales, jewelry, tools, amphorae, stone anchors ...

The "ancient navigation" is very interesting because it allows to better understand how took place the trade and transport of works of art by the sea for antiquity.

In the "Medieval and modern" section, you will see beautiful objects made in the Middle Ages as ceramics, as well as more recent objects like cannons, guns, swords, tableware and cargo. All these treasures were not retrieved lengths in shipwrecks, mainly in the Gulf of Lions.
